​I'm Yixiao, a human-centered product designer who recently earned an M.A. from George Washington University. My friends and family know me as Elaine. ​

I am driven by the idea of constructing the "I wish" and "I wonder" in the digital world to improve the day-to-day digital experiences for the mass majority.

I'm deeply inspired by the Japanese aesthetic concept: yo no bi, which conveys beauty of use, or beauty of practical objects. My ultimate pursuit as a product designer is to embody the wisdom of yo no bi in my creations.

As a perpetual learner, I am always seeking opportunities to be inspired, hone my craft, and acquire new tastes.
